Cindy Cradler has enjoyed art since high school, and has explored a variety of mediums including stained glass, lampworking glass beads, jewelry making, and ceramics to name a few.  Only recently has she re-discovered her love of drawing and painting.

Cindy has taken classes at the Indianapolis Art Center studying with: Gloria Fischer - who rekindled a love of drawing people; Robert Hoffman - who opened the world of pastel painting; and Doug Daniel - who expanded portrait painting to oils.  Cindy has also studied with Ann Kullberg in colored pencil where she received inspiration and reinforcement of her love of detail. 

Cindy has started completing an oil painting each day.  These paintings are "themed" to help her organize subject matter and allow paintings to be grouped together easily.  These paintings are taking her work to new levels and allowing her to reach many more potential collectors with the smaller size.

Cindy's show will be displayed in the Art Gallery through July 27. 

Join the LaFontaine Arts Council for the annual Regional Art Show.  Come opening night, September 6 6-8 pm, to enjoy art from local artists.  Awards will be presented in each of the 3 categories for this juried art show.  Show will run through the month of September.  For more information, click on the picture.
