Heather Ryan is an American author and illustrator from San Diego, California. Having always been involved in the arts, she earned her bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from the University of California, San Diego. Sixteen years later, Heather continued to search for her passion. She chose to go back to school, where she earned her MBA from Western Governors University. She is the mother of two and enjoys any activity that keeps her young at heart. Heather's debut book, "That's Just How He Felt," was recognized as a #1 new release on Amazon. She has released several more books since.
Cindy Cradler has enjoyed art since high school, and has explored a variety of mediums including stained glass, lampworking glass beads, jewelry making, and ceramics to name a few. Only recently has she re-discovered her love of drawing and painting.
Cindy has taken classes at the Indianapolis Art Center studying with: Gloria Fischer - who rekindled a love of drawing people; Robert Hoffman - who opened the world of pastel painting; and Doug Daniel - who expanded portrait painting to oils. Cindy has also studied with Ann Kullberg in colored pencil where she received inspiration and reinforcement of her love of detail.
Cindy has started completing an oil painting each day. These paintings are "themed" to help her organize subject matter and allow paintings to be grouped together easily. These paintings are taking her work to new levels and allowing her to reach many more potential collectors with the smaller size.
Cindy's show will be displayed in the Art Gallery through June 30.
